VIVID: Art Seminar 2022

25 rising artists are being represented in VIVID, an art exhibition showcase hosted by the Associated Artists of Butler County and Slippery Rock University’s Art Department. Happening now until April 22nd, VIVID seeks to “revive the community with the students’ creativity” with it being the first in-person off campus exhibition in the past few years due to the recent pandemic of COVID-19. Some of the works that are on display include ceramics, drawings, paintings, photography, digital works, and graphic works.

The Associated Artists of Butler County provides art classes year-round for artists of all ages and abilities. Compiled of volunteers and qualified teachers, the art center prides itself on other events such as its Underground Gallery nights with live music, art shows, and plays. The Butler Arts Center is located on South Main Street in Butler, Pa and is open Wednesdays through Saturdays 12pm-5pm.
